Horus is the Egyptian falcon-faced sun god, son of Isis and Osiris. The Eye of Horus, also known as the 'all seeing eye', is a powerful symbol of protection and illumination. At his talons you see two Ankh symbols. The symbol is an Egyptian hieroglyph for "life" or "breath of life" and, as the Egyptians believed that one's earthly journey was only part of an eternal life, the ankh symbolizes both mortal existence and the afterlife.

Depending on the type of shell the Horus Necklace is adorned with a Labradorite (in combination with Abalone Shell) or Moonstone (in combination with Pink or Golden Mother of Pearl Shell). Moonstone is a gem for intuition, balance, and wishes. Labradorite is known as the stone of magic, that calms, energises and enhances intuitive abilities.
